Random Forest at Gypsy Sally's was a Blast!

Thanks for coming to Gypsy Sally's for a late night show, featuring Patrick Mustain and the Random Forest, on Saturday July 22nd, 2017 at the Vinyl Lounge.

Songwriter Patrick Mustain and Bassist Matt Harris have been playing off and on since their days at UNC Chapel Hill. They were joined in their Random Forests project by drummer Dan Olson. By day Mustain is a writer and multimedia producer, and Harris and Olson fight fraud using algorithms with names like "Gradient Boosting Machines," "Xgboost," and you guessed it: "Random Forests." They decided Gradient Boosting Machines didn't really roll off the tongue.
