Who We Are
Est. 2015, M Institute for the Arts is a welcoming, membership-based music community of all ages and levels. Facilitating online and in-studio music lessons and training with world-class teachers, artistic events and classes, and music rooms. Originally headquartered in Georgetown, Washington, DC, on 31st & M Streets, the M gets its name from the most famous street in Georgetown, M Street. Today, the M Institute serves the DC Metro Area at-large, select regions across the US, and its online members worldwide. Join our community anytime and start playing!
How it works
To access our range of student benefits, including music lessons and rehearsal space, students become a student member and then are placed with a teacher by one of our placement committee members. If you already have a teacher in mind, let us know!
