Tuition Assistance recipients may use a pre-arranged payment plan, but failure to make payments in a timely manner will result in rescission of Tuition Assistance. Although Tuition Assistance is limited, every effort will be made to assist those students who, because of financial difficulties, would otherwise be unable to study at the M Institute for the Arts. Please understand that the M Institute does not award full scholarships. Scholarships are awarded with a commitment from both parties for four (4) months of study, with the expectation of one (1) lesson per week. After said period, if the student would like to continue receiving assistance, he or she must reapply.
Tuition assistance is applied as a tuition discount and is not given in the form of cash. If there is a reduction in the length of the lesson time, the award will be reduced accordingly. Any increase in lesson time or number of lessons will not necessarily result in a proportionate increase in the award and may require a new application. A student who withdraws prior to the completion of a semester will not receive credit on his/her Tuition Assistance for subsequent enrollment.
The M Institute for the Arts does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national or ethnic origin, sexual orientation, or religion in any of its admissions or educational policies, tuition assistance programs, or in any activity or program.
