Our Free Introduction to Music Series is meant to be taken in order from Music Notation 1, followed by Piano Prep, Singing Prep, and/or Guitar Prep. This series of free group music classes is designed for the beginner musician, those looking to re-learn or sharpen their skills, or those musicians who have learned their instrument(s) by ear and are looking a more formal introduction to music. After this series, you should feel confident in taking private instruction in any instrument and more advanced group and/or theory classes, whether they be with us or at a university. The series is entirely free with your $50 deposit to reserve, returned upon completion of the series. Learn more...

Get together with other like-minded musicians and learn guitar as a group!

Ford Combs leads this fun and interactive workshop, which will includes instruction on the basic components of successful songwriting and then putting it into practice on students' own compositions. More experienced songwriters will get coaching and polish their skills as well as have a chance to have news songs critiqued by the group. Beginners will have a chance to get started and get ideas to kick-start their songwriting.

Bringing together students to prepare them for public performance and auditions, this workshop covers proper performance techniques and audition standards of practice, coaching on anxiety management and communication, and teacher & student critiques and suggestions to polish off the pieces being presented in a safe, friendly environment  Accompanist will be provided  Instructors may be changed each workshop to provide a variety and rounded pool of knowledge to students.
