Biography

Piano & Collaborative Piano: all ages, Beginner to Advanced

Valeria is a Classical Solo and Collaborative Pianist with more than 10 years of teaching experience in Europe and the US. She is a goal-oriented teacher with a unique approach to all of her students which allows her to develop their music individualities and talents.

Born in Chisinau, Moldova in a family of musicians, Valeria entered the Eugen Coca Music School at the age of 5 and completed it 7 years later being a winner of several national piano competitions. She continued her studies at Stephan Neaga Musical College where she studied Piano Performance and Musical Theory. In 2007, Valeria entered the Academy of Music Theatre and Fine Arts in Moldova where she studied piano for the next 5 years under renowned professor Aliona Vardanean and obtained her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, Teaching and Accompanying.

During her years of study, Valeria started her teaching career at the Russian Musical Society. After graduation from the Academy she was invited to join the faculty as a collaborative pianist for opera singers and worked as an Assistant Piano Professor at Nicolae Botgros College of Arts in Moldova. In addition to her teaching Valeria has participated in many national and international piano competitions (Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Ukraine) where she received multiple awards. She has taken part in numerous performances both solo and with diverse Chamber ensembles including performances with the National Moldova Philharmonic orchestra.

The most recent chapter of her career Is giving private piano lessons in the US where Valeria continues traditions of the great Russian Musical system and implements all of her experience, knowledge and passion for Music and helps students to fall in love with Piano.
