Your help is needed to build artistic communities in Washington by producing volunteer-driven change and improvement of the arts! Innovative volunteers needed to help establish volunteer-run programs and lead and manage teams to meet goals. Volunteer staff positions available. Programs and areas needed include our Blog, Fundraising, Instrument Donation Program, community and outreach classes, teaching community classes, marketing (content creation, social, digital, PR, etc), and more.
Great potential to enhance your resume, gain skills and training, and feel good about helping our community.
Time commitment: 5+ Hours per week, long-term + Sunday afternoon meetings after 3pm.
Who should apply: Innovative leaders seeking a start-up environment and enjoy building and organizing programs from the ground up. A self-starter attitude is a must.
Location: Most work can be done from home but attendance at weekly meetings in Georgetown is essential. Internships: You are invited to apply as an intern, however, this work does not qualify for most for-credit programs as much of the work is done in-home.
Ages: 20 & up.Also great for retirees!
Technology Requirement: Must have a PC and home internet. Must enjoy learning new technology. Smartphone is helpful.
